gabi and i had fun together creating a ballet photo shoot.....

i am so proud of her dedication, determination and love of this beautiful yet challenging discipline.

i've observed that ballerinas..................stretch their hips and legs constantly up walls, down stairs, across couches and chairs.......................have posture to covet..................move gracefully yet are tough as nails.........................can swiftly put their hair in a ballet bun, even gabi with her thick mop has mastered it under 60 seconds in the car, with help from only the tiny visor mirror..........................have a resting pose of first position...............................can't help moving to classical music, often the music of choice...................own an exorbitant amount of bobby pins, hair ties and hair nets yet can never find one when they need one....................................dream of the perfect pointe shoe for their foot.........................love, love, love tutus..................eat four meals a day during training......................spend hours on the internet looking at black leotards.................choose splits on the floor as the prefered homework position..........................know a lot of french................observe and admire people's feet......................have perfected hand sewing......................appreciate their strong bodies and feel confident in their own skin..................
