Diamond Anniversary

60 years.  my mother and father-in-law are celebrating their diamond anniversary, 60 years of marriage.  congratulations!  this milestone for a couple to share seems a rare and unique accomplishment.  if i may say it, i am proud of you two, mervyl and gerry.  

what a magnificient family i married in to.  each and every member accomplished, beautifully stunning and intelligent with a strong personality to boot.  they stand alone quite securely but together, they are happiest. (although shorter family get togethers work best :) created in south africa, the family has been through its ups, downs, challenges, victories and will be forever spread far and wide across the globe but the powerful family character traits of loyalty and love rest securely in the hearts of every member.

gerry, the head strong, determined, hard working patriarch and mervyl, the heart strong, earthy, eloquent matriarch have created quite a legacy with seven children, twenty-two grandchildren, throw in us seven sons and daughters-in-law and we stand thirty-eight meyerstrong.
