while we were in utah, i visited my dear friend lori from my jr. high and high school years.

she's an amazing kind of friend.  you know the kind........though decades go by without being together, time melts away and we are our giggling, comfortable teenage selves again.  that fun kind.

i also got to meet lori's son, sean. 

what a privilege it was to meet this courageous, inspiring and strong young man.  sean is beginning a tough battle with a rare form of cancer and truly won my heart with his warmth, cheerfulness and determination.  he freely shares this new challenge on his honest and upbeat blog: seancancervive.blogspot.com
