once you're a mother, you always want to be a mother.
you can't actually imagine what life was like before motherhood.
what in the world did i do?
even when your kids grow up and move away and begin full lives of their own, your desire to be there for them, love them, support their endeavors and let them know you
f u l l o n!
one thing i do to let each of my off-and-on-their-own kids know that i am still the loudest voice in their cheering section is to text them a heartfelt quote each morning -
...a check-in, a touch base, a quick link, an i'm thinking of you and want you to be happy...
sometimes i'll get a text back, sometimes not, sometimes it turns into a text conversation,
it doesn't matter.
what does matter is that i know and they know that we are connected.
i love being a mother, always have, always will.
