it's gabi's birthday today!!
happy birthday to our fifteen year old!
and what a day it's been.....
actually, we started the festivities last night with a group of friends over.
i made a cake version of gabi's absolute-favorite-ever-since-she-was-a-little-girl treat...
a pink, glazed doughnut with sprinkles.
then today, she got her learner's permit. here we go..........
in the middle of gabi's day, she had to say goodbye to sebastian
as he heads to geneva, switzerland to work for four weeks.
a bit of a downer on an otherwise happy, happy day.
it's difficult to say goodbye as we've just said hello on his return from university,
but what a great experience you'll have, sebastian!
gabi has been wanting a big chalkboard for her bedroom, so while she was at school, i painted her white closet doors with chalkboard paint..........surprise!
*i'll put together a "make" post on this project later in the week. it was fun.
to end her birthday gabi invited her bestie, sidney, to join us for a celebratory dinner.
happy birthday, girl!!!!
