i am a week or so behind in harvesting my lavender.
it has been prime, purply, perfect and prodding me to pick.
over the weekend, i finally got to this charming annual chore of mine and loved every minute of it.
the bees weren't a problem like last year. maybe because the blooms are a bit past their prime, hmmm?
after tying them in bundles, i will hang them inside to dry for a week or two and then collect the blossoms, storing them for use throughout the year.
bath bombs, green tea toner.......and basically anything i can think of that these aromatic lovelies could enhance.
