we've been loving summer days and evenings on the boat at boulder rez.
sometimes gabi's friends join us - screaming, happy teenage girls.
sometimes it is sab and a friend. tomorrow, we've invited a family of friends for a picnic
and fun on the boat......
today was "no wake thursday", so sebastian and paul went fishing. i had a relaxing nap
on the boat with the sounds of my happy husband and son whipping and winding rods and reels around me......heaven.
i love being in and on the water. there is nothing quite like it.
notes:
my dear readers, first of all, thank you, thank you for your support on the blog.
i appreciate you so very much. in fact, more than you'll ever, ever know....
after nearly five years of posting every other day, i'm going to take it down a notch and check in only a couple of times a week. no big deal, just relaxing a bit.
also, while i've got your attention, let's do a reality check of my blog (and many, many others).
most lifestyle bloggers, myself included, post highlights of days, not reality of days. who wants to revisit the mundane, the challenging and exhausting, the predictable routine of life? not me!.........vet and doctor visits, recipes gone bad, messy rooms, work, family contentions, oil changes, broken appliances, grocery shopping, weeds, dirty laundry, carpools and at the moment, major flood damage and flood control construction.........all fill our days to the brim. so, please don't ever be fooled.
i believe ALL of life is to be appreciated, but not always with camera in hand!
