i spent the weekend with my amazing girl friends from high school.
actually ruth, who flew in from texas, and i have known each other since kindergarten!
liz and ruth swung by and picked me up, getting a huge hug from paul, and we made our way up the mountains to the lake side town of dillon.
where we met up with our two other lifelong friends, diane and nancy.
after lunch and a hike, the five of us settled into a lovely reminiscing weekend at diane's beautiful mountain home. we immersed ourselves in catching up with each others' lives and hours and hours of talking, high school photos & scrapbooks, laughing, crying and appreciating each other and the history and friendship we share treasure.
we did take occasional breaks to eat and sleep and before we knew it, our time together was coming to an end. as the last hurrah, we went to keystone resort for the wine and jazz festival.
