our friend pete, a race car enthusiast, drove hauled his beautiful porsche boxter from his home in iowa to race at high plains raceway outside of denver. paul and i were excited for the chance to see pete again (the last time we were together was le mans!). we also wanted to watch pete race so, we hustled ourselves an hour and a half due east to the plains to meet up with him.
