i love long weekends and this memorial day weekend was particularly superb. sebastian and his girlfriend maddie visited us from provo arriving late friday which gave us two full days plus one more fun morning together. sebastian and maddie also love the outdoors and sab couldn't wait to hit the home stream to do some fishing. we all went on a morning hike together making it back just before a stormy front moved through the valley. gabi too was happy to have her brother home again. these two, #4 and #5, have had a love/hate relationship right from the start, it still continues.......... abby the horse was happy to see sab again and paul was in his element shopping, cooking and dishing up a traditional sunday lunch for family and friends. memorial day weekend is also boulder's creekfest and the 10k bolder boulder run. with only sprinters in this family, except nicole you cross country girl you, sab, maddie, paul and i skipped the race but went downtown to the festival eventually wandering over to pearl street and running into gabi and her friends. sebastian and maddie, thank you for the visit you two wonderfuls. you are loved.
faithful readers, i am downsizing the blog and planning on posting once a week from now on. y'know, less is more and all that :)
