it was a 'say goodbye weekend' to sebastian as he begins his junior year at b.y.u.
we drove to utah and got him settled in his apartment and then took the opportunity for a fun last weekend together.
paul's sister margo and her husband tony were in provo visiting from south africa. we were looking forward to spending some rare and precious time with them this weekend as well. we invited margo and tony to join us for a drive down south to the tiny town of kanosh, utah. in kanosh, paul wanted to share one of his favorite fishing spots with sebastian. the three of us hiked while father and son fished.
for lunch we stopped at the not much bigger town of fillmore, utah for a classic hamburger/onion rings/fries lunch at cluff's carhop cafe.
the rest of the weekend was spent together with family. meals at gma's and gpa's.....
and a last lovely afternoon visit in salt lake city at alex and tadd's just before margo and tony had to fly back home.
their sons angus and charlie played with andrew and little margo's pups, nigel and water-loving helga all afternoon.
goodbye margo and tony. what a treat to be with you!
paul, gabi and i are going to miss sebastian at home. we loved his music, his calm and kind ways and all of his help around the garden this summer while paul recovered from a ruptured achilles tendon. have a great semester, sab!
Oh yes, a great semester to Sab... And so, so nice to be with you and Paul for a few hours. Gorgeous photos, thanks! What a family - dogs included.
