happy valentine's day everyone. hope you just can't get enough of this day. i adore holidays and couldn't even wait until paul and gabi were awake this morning to start celebrating. their heart day began with a healthy valentine breakfast i put together last night. valentines day overnight oats with raspberry chia jam was welcome and ready for their 6:15am start. i love you two!! paul has been traveling the world these past two weeks but made it home in time for valentine's day (it just wouldn't have been the same without you, baby) so it is a very happy day indeed! and now that breakfast is over, i can't wait to tuck into my six enormous 250 gram valentine gift chocolate bars he brought me from new zealand. hmmmm, luckily breakfast was light and healthy.
on last year's valentines day post, i featured a couple of photos of me and paul when we first met. to carry on this tradition, here are a couple more of our falling in love memories....
speaking of love, happiness and joy, i just have to say how i have appreciated so many, friends and famous, making a concerted effort to lift the spirits and open the hearts of our nation by encouraging acceptance, equality and diversity. it is beautiful to see. i encourage everyone to jump on this bandwagon by simply being kind. it is powerful. it is a win/win. it is a mindset. to get my head and heart where it needs to be when i am out and about, i have a list of 100 acts of kindness i refer to and would like to share with you, with love:
