this morning, gabi was searching through the hat box and found this

precious headband.  my grandmother, Iola LaJune, crocheted headbands for her great granddaughters nicole and margo

 when they were little girls to keep their ears warm in the winter winds.  

a blue one for nicole and a pink one for margo.

thank you dear grandma.  i miss you but your love lives on and keeps the little ears of a great granddaughter you never even met, warm still......
