happy birthday, roxy

just celebrated her 3rd birthday.

we have only known her since she was 7 months old,

at which time she was nearly at her full height and breadth.

(this is a photo that her first owners sent to us)

i am sure you were the most adorable of puppies, girl

but it was nice to meet you after you were house trained and over teething.

gabrielle organized a birthday picnic for roxy.......

complete with a peanut butter, cheese and pup-peroni sandwich

with a side of dog biscuit.

"but wait roxy, you must make a wish and blow out your candle first."

i wish for............ a huge pot roast and to finally catch a squirrel!

sebastian just received his driver's permit.

congratulations!!

now a full year of driving with mom and dad and then he will be driving on his own.......

i always think you can spot the worn out, stressed out parents of:

toddlers that are potty training or

teenagers that are learning to drive!

boys will be boys.....

one of ben and sab's friends came over to shoot off an awesome rocket from our driveway.......

it shot straight up, the parachute caught the breeze and landed somewhere in the trees

of the neighbor's property.

but they screamed and shouted and jumped for joy watching it all!
