what a wide, wild world of sports weekend.......
soccer:
gabrielle's soccer team played in a tournament all weekend with great results!
after a 10 minute overtime and then a shootout,
they won their division final!!
then, gabi went with her team on saturday night to watch our major league soccer team,
gabi took photos with her phone as they watched the rapids warm up.
and even wangled an autograph session before gametime.
the rapids won 1 - 0 over rival dallas.
fairview j.v. football/madden
sab played a tough football game in the afternoon, with some fantastic tackles
but ended up getting a helmet to the i.t. band on his left quad.

he spent the rest of the weekend rotating ice on and off and laying low,
mostly playing madden 12 football on the ps3.
he hobbled around school today on not fun crutches.
