flea market find

between ben, sab and gabi, we have 4 ball games to attend today all around the metro area.
so, to take a break between cheering, paul and i found an
enormous and very cool flea market in a sketchy part of denver.

i was on a mission to find a treasure here......

unfortunately, i grabbed my camera as we left in the wee hours of the morning
only to find later that i hadn't replace the recharging battery. so, only i-phone photos today.
i loved this collection of marbles in a gargantuan bottle.

these dolls were scary.

tonnes of tools (actually, i do like tools).........
perhaps camouflage luggage for our next africa trip with leopard leggings to match?

wasn't quite sure what they were selling at this stall, i think jeans....

hmmmmmmm, i like these.

cauldrons or ski gear?

there were at least a hundred stalls of fresh fruit and vegetables.  paul found his treasure(s) here.

chilis galore.

vibrant, golden melons or perhaps cactus leaves?
zucchini, no thanks, got enough at home.

i love photographing vegetables.
tomatoes, no thanks, got enough at home.

at the end of an hour, we came upon antique alley.
now we're talking.......

love it, love it and this pram reminds me of the photos i've seen of me as a baby
being strolled around france in a big, blue french baby buggy.

tempting......

this quilt is a possibility.... it had a handworked patchwork top with a grain sack underside.
no way, my mom had a set of this luggage in the 60's.  i remember the pale yellow voile lining.
another very attractive possibility.

but then, a glint of silver caught my eye............

found it!

a gorgeous pair of black tony lama cowboy boots with silver tips.
i love them so much.
$20 and my cowboy boot collection is complete!
