before the snow

here are photos i had wanted to post of sights, sounds, scents and happenings

before the snow....

paul crossed the stream at the bottom of the property 

and went on a photo shoot hike.

pretty much our own back yard!

gabrielle had a flag football tournament.

gabi joined her school's flag football team.  

she was the one and only girl.

when i watch my brothers play."

we picked the last of the apples on our tree.

and made baked apples filled with butter, brown sugar, raisins & cinnamon.

it is one of the best aromas of the season when these are baking in the oven.

davy rocket showed up at a halloween party!

the crowd was dancing, singing and having loads of fun.

the best news of all is that ben received the rank of eagle scout

and has completed all of his requirements in scouting.

ben, congratulations on this incredible achievement.

we are so proud of you and the focus, determination and commitment

you have mustered to complete this goal through these 8 years.

your mom and dad as well as the whole board of review are beaming

at being able to present you with this award.

you are loved, my darling son.
