harvest

we harvested all of our squash yesterday.

hubbards, butternuts, acorn and spaghetti squash.

yum!

we also harvested our pumpkins!

this is the first pumpkin patch we have ever had and 

we are so proud of our bright, bulging bounty.

seven gorgeous moonfaced pumpkins just waiting to be carved into

pumpkin moonshines!

gabi has already picked hers.  

"please, may i have one?" asks roxy.

"thanks."

the squash and pumpkins are harvested and brought indoors because 

we know what is on it's way.....

our first snowfall. 

snowy and peaceful and still falling......
