i don't mean for this to be a daily weather report
but what weather we've been having!!
we woke to an unexpected snowstorm this morning
which dumped another 8 or so inches on top of our last snow.
gabi and her friend sidney....
woke up
made pancakes
bundled up from head to toe
and spent hours outside playing in the snow.
roxy was their constant companion!
she loves playing in the snow at least as much as they do.
they'd finally had enough and came inside for hot chocolate.
advent:
this afternoon, gabi and i got all dressed up and headed into denver,
to see....
it was so beautiful
it was so magical
it was so graceful
and we both loved it so much!!
(ballets make me cry)
the matinee was filled with mothers and grandmothers
hand in hand with their daughters and granddaughters dressed for the occasion in
sparkly or furry or velvety, christmas dresses.
it was a magical sight.
