this is a beautiful aspen grove in the mountains above provo, utah.

that is where we we have been this past weekend helping ben resettle at brigham young university.

there have been some huge changes in ben's life these past two weeks....

after much contemplation and heartfelt pondering, he decided that colorado school of mines

was not the right fit for him.

he then forged head on with courage, conviction and determination to meet all the obstacles that presented themselves with this decision to withdraw and take another path.

  a very tough course to forge for a 19 year old.  

but he did it and now he is an excited resident at the dorms of byu.  

the events that lead to his being able to switch universities at such a late stage and have the doors still open to enable him to transfer schools and still be able to participate in division one track have left us humbled and greatful for the forces of good and the goodness of all those that made this affirmed decision possible from both sides.

all is well.
