senior quilts

we have a lovely tradition at our church.  

at the end of each school year, the teenage girls and women get together to sew quilts to 

give to the graduating seniors of the congregation so they may take something meaningful with them to college from their caring, home community.  

tonight we gathered together at a friend's house to tie quilts for this year's 

four graduating seniors.

through the years, nicole, margo and ben have each treasured their own senior quilts.
