long weekend togetherness

we had a full house over this holiday weekend.  hooray!

with the fourth of july being a friday, margo, andrew and sebastian finished work

and school on thursday and drove, drove, drove to get here late that night.

it was sooo nice to have them home.

alex, tadd and their boys also came for the weekend.  

what fun we had with everyone.

sebastian and katharine were happy to be together again too!

we were out and about a lot but at the house, we did tons of eating.  oh yea.

this night was chef paul's

bbq ribs - rubbed and slowly cooked on the bbq all day

potato salad

kale salad

pasta and shrimp salad

homemade baked beans (thanks jennifer)

corn on the cob

strawberry angel food cake

poppyseed bread

rox babysat helga and nigel so margo and andrew could go out and play all day.  

good girl, roxy.

helga and nigel also got a bath.  

with all of the outdoor fun and adventure (featured in the next post), there was some down time too.

gaming and reading.......
