gabi, sebastian, paul and i spent a long weekend in southern california.
it was sunny, warm and fan-tastic!
not only are there bounteous beaches, tons to do and see but we have a lot of family there from both sides:
our daughter nicole
my brother greg
my brother lance and his family
my dad
paul's brother jo and his family too!
our first day was full and fun! we started with a visit to my dad at his newly decorated condo in vista then headed off together to carlsbad beaches, where we stayed for the weekend.
it felt soooo good to be at the sea again.
then we headed to valley center to my brother lance's house and property.
here he is with his cute son, landon. i loved being with lance again. he's the bearded best.
in the afternoon, nicole made her way down to san diego from l.a.
"hi, my darling."
we also met up with jo, heidi and their son, aidan!
It was good to see these sisters and brother and cousin reunited.
it was also good to see these two capetonian brothers together at the beach once again.........
as well as this sister and brother and uncle,
and sister and sister,
and cousins together again.
then.........that night was the long anticipated ONE DIRECTION concert at qualcomm stadium!
gabi was given tickets for christmas and couldn't have been more anxious for this.
we talked sebastian into joining us. what a nice big brother.
my darling daughter was completely overcome when these four boys finally hit the stage!
a fun finish to a fantastic day!!!
