you never know what surprises the day will bring......
one morning this week, paul got a call from a dear friend of ours, celia from new zealand,
saying that she was in the states and would love to fly in to see us that afternoon.
"yes, yes, a hundred times yes!"
paul and i have known celia since our byu college days, when celia's husband ottley and paul played rugby together. celia has continued to be a loving, wise and close friend to us both all through the years as we would visit her or she would visit us. the opportunity to have her close again was a treasured gift.
we spent the all too quick 24 hours talking, reminiscing, sharing news of her family and ours and being filled with the gifts of knowledge, strength, openess and common sense she lovingly bestows.
i love the familiar connection to lifelong friends so very much. thank you for coming celia,
we are already looking forward to our next time together.....here or there.
